Pentuja ja hiekkaa / Puppies and sand

Vaikka pentuja onkin nyt vähemmän, niin vauhti ei kyllä ole vähentynyt. Ainoa helpotus taisi tulla siitä, että nyt riittää kun vahtii neljää riehuvaa pentua. Kolme lapsukaista pyörii paremmin samassa kasassa, ja Pärnilla sitten yksinään kipittää missä sattuu. Väsymystä on ollut ilmassa, sekä pennuilla että itselläni, kai se viikonloppu kuitenkin hieman vei voimia. Mutta eiköhän se tästä lähde taas liikkeelle.

Even though there are less puppies now, the speed haven't gone down a bit. The only thing easier now is, that I need to watch only four puppies running around. Three of them stay quite well together, and Pärnilla runs around by her own. There's been tiredness in the air, for the puppies as well as for me, so I guess the weekend did take it's toll. But it most likely gets better from here.

Pennut on tänään leikkineet hiekkalaatikolla, se on niiden mielestä kivaa. Hiekka vaan lentää kun pennut kaivavat.
Puppies have been playing in the sand box today, they actually think it's fun. Sand just flies when they dig.

Tänään alkoi myös keittiöremontti, pentuja ei meteli haittaa, nukkuvat kun väsyttää ja leikkivät kun huvittaa. Aamulla vaan olisivat halunneet remonttimiehiä tervehtimään hirveällä vauhdilla. Saivat sitten onneksi tervehtiä kahvitauolla, pentujen mielestä kun ihmiset on ehkä paras asia maailmassa. Kovasti halusivat myös osallistua roskien kantamiseen, ja Herttakin juoksi joka kerralla melkein portille asti perässä. Halusivat myös osallistua portaissa kulkemiseen, joka lähinnä aiheutti ongelmia kulkemiseen kuin auttoi. Mutta pennuista on ollut kivaa kun on ollut vieraita.

Today started our kitchen renovation, puppies don't care about the noise at all, they sleep when tired and play when they feel like it. They would've wanted to greet the repairmen right away. They did get to greet them during coffee brake, since the puppies think humans are the best thing ever. They also wanted to take part in taking the trash, and even Hertta run almost all the way to the gate after them each time. They also wanted to help while walking in the stairs, which more likely caused more trouble than helped. But the puppies like that we're having visitor.

7 viikkoa / 7 weeks

Vähiin käy ennen kuin kokonaan loppuu. Puolet pennuista ovat urheasti muuttaneet maailmalle, ja pelkkiä hyviä uutisia on kuulunut. Pennut ovat olleet reippaita, eikä jatkuvasta huudosta ole vielä uutisia kuulunut. Näyttää siltä että hyvän kodin on jokainen tähän mennessä saanut.

Few left anymore before they are all gone. Half of the puppies have bravely moves into the wide world, and so far I've only heard good news. Puppies have been brisk, and no one has reported about continuous cry yet. It seems so far they all got really good homes.

Kotona on vielä 4, 3 tyttöä ja 1 poika. Inga (Bandu) joka jääkin minulle, ja toivottavasti on aikanaan emänä uusille pentueilleni. Myös Ukko (Dolmio) kasvaa vielä viikon tässä kasvattajan valvovan silmän alla ennen omaan kotiin muuttamista. Kotona on myös pari tyttöä vielä, Hertta ja Pärnilla, molemmat kotia vailla.

There is still 4 puppies home, 1 male and 3 females. Inga (Bandu) which will stay here with me, and she hopefully will be a mother for my coming litters in the future. Also Ukko (Dolmio) will stay here with me one more week before moving to his new home. I also have two other females, Hertta and Pärnilla, who both are still available for new homes.

Tilak

Neljäntenä omaan kotiin suuntasi KromiStars Öinen Pihlajikko, joka vielä toistaiseksi jatkaa nimellä "Tilak". Reipas poika suuntasi Turkuun, toisen ihanan länderi-pojan kaveriksi.

The fourth to leave for his own home was KromiStars Öinen Pihlajikko, who will still be "Tilak" for now. This brave boy headed to Turku, to live with another wondeful kromi-boy.

Täplis

Kolmannen pennun lähtö tuli hieman yllättäen, olin jo ajatellut että Täplis viettää täällä pidempään, sillä uroksia tuntuu vapaana olevan enemmänkin, mutta taisi olla rakkautta ensi silmäyksellä tällä parilla.
Oman rakastavan kodin kolmantena sai KromiStars Öinen Petäjikkö, "Alpo", joka muuttaa Keravalle, jossa seurana on kaksi länderiä, toisena oma eno.

The third puppy's departure came a little unexpectedly, I was already thinking that Täplis is going to be here longer, because there seems to be so many free males, but it seems like it was love at first sight with this pair. 
The third puppy to move to his own loving home is KromiStars Öinen Petäjikkö, "Alpo" who moves to Kerava, there he is accompanied by two kromis, the other one being his uncle.

Tupla

Tänään lähti sitten toinen pentu, KromiStars Öinen Katajikko, "Tupla". Rauhallinen poika muuttaa Liperiin ja saa samalla kaksi uutta "isosiskoa".

So today left second puppy, KromiStars Öinen Katajikko, "Tupla". This easygoing boy will move to Liperi, and he will get two new "big sister" at the same.

Kuplis

Tänään sitten lähti ensimmäinen pentu, KromiStars Öinen Tammikko, "Kata". Herttainen tyttö matkustaa äitinsä seuraksi Vihtiin.

Today left the first puppy, KromiStars Öinen Tammikko, "Kata". This sweet girl will move to Vihti to be with her mother.

Sain kyllä vaihdossa hieman rauhallisempia kupliksia. Kiitos, ehkä nämä vähän lohduttaa. (Nämä jopa seisoivat paikoillaan kanan kanssa)
I did get few kuplis in exchange, they were bit more calm as well. Thank you, maybe these will comfort be a bit. (These even stood in place with chicken)

Terveystuloksia / Health results

Tänään oli vuorossa pentutarkastus, se on kyllä varmaan jokaisen kasvattajan kauhun hetki. Sitä tietää ettei kenessäkään ole vikaa, mutta silti sitä jännittää ihan kamalasti. Pennut matkustivat hienosti ja antoivat laittaa tipat silmiin ilman suurempaa ongelmaa. Olivat myös todella hienosti pöydällä tutkittavina.

Today we had the puppy health test, and I bet it's the horror of every breeder. You kinda know everything is fine, but you still feel horribly nervous. Puppies traveled nicely and behaved when putting the eye drops. They were also really good-mannered while being examined on the table.

I am so pleased with the results! We opened a sparkling wine to celebrate.
